This expansion adds 5 new playable characters, all of which are mages. Mages in the Witcher universe are powerful characters traveling through the Continent. They get involved in a lot of political intrigues, either on a smaller or bigger level. This expansion adds 7 large boss miniatures to your games along with the cards to control them. It also adds new special combat cards. The new boss monster mode works in both standard and cooperative game modes. The Skellige Expansion brings a large Board Game extension with 3 new locations! It also introduces boat travel, along with boat miniatures, that provide a new way to travel around the game world. The deluxe edition includes 28 monster miniatures, 1 closed tavern miniature, and 5 plastic scoring tokens not found in the standard version.
